PSG Rising Star Award

This award is NOT open for nomination. The shortlist will be selected from BUV records of students' data.

 

This award recognizes first-year students who consistently display enthusiastic engagement and exceptional performance within the PSG Programme during their first year at the university.   

 

ELIGIBILITY:

  • This award is open to only first-year students. 

    Since the BUV Student Awards 2024 will take place in November, during the new academic year 2024-2025, first-year students eligible for this award include those from the 2401, 2301, and 2310 intakes who have just completed their first year at BUV. All PSG records used for evaluation will only consider activities completed until the end of the 2023-2024 academic year.

     
  • The student must accumulate a minimum of 500 PSG points across all quadrants of the PSG Programme.
  • The student must have PSG points in all quadrants of the PSG Programme.
  • The student ranks within the top three individuals with the highest PSG points in the PSG Programme, across all quadrants.
  • The student has a positive record with no instances of general misconduct (Student Code of Conduct) or academic misconduct and has not failed any modules. 

 

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • The distribution of PSG points across each quadrant is reasonably balanced, with no quadrant having significantly lower points than others.
  • The students demonstrate potential for leadership roles within clubs & societies and active engagement & support in university events organised by students and BUV departments.
  • The students serve as role models, encouraging fellow students to participate in PSG activities. 

 

WINNER SELECTION: 100% Judging Panel.

 

NOTICE: To submit records of external activities outside of BUV from 25/09/2023 to 22/09/2024 for PSG point recognition and BUV Student Awards consideration, please complete the External Activity Form and send it along with the necessary evidence to psg@buv.edu.vn by 23:39 Monday, October 28, 2024. You can download the form or the detailed process and requirements from handbooks and guidelines on Canvas - PSG course. Any enquiries or additional submissions after the deadline will not be included for consideration of the Student Awards 2024.
