How are the award winner selected?
For individual awards:
Not open for nomination. The winners are selected from BUV records of students’ data.
 
For team awards:
– People’s Choice Award: Open for nomination, selected through public voting on the BUV Student Awards website.
– Other categories: Open for nomination, selected by the Judging Panel

The data used depends on the eligibility and selection criteria for each award. For individual awards this may include PSG points accumulated, the number of activities and their diversity, awards and achievements, academic records and other relevant evidence. Please consult the Policy to see the exact eligibility and selection criteria for each award

We only consider the qualified evidence of events/projects/activities between the start of the October 2024 Semester and the end of the Summer-2025 Semester (23/09/2024 – 21/09/2025). Any evidence that occurred outside that time is unqualified.

Students who wish to submit additional external awards, certifications, or activities that occurred within the eligible period (23/09/2024 – 21/09/2025) to claim PSG points and be considered for individual awards must submit them via the BUV Campus Central mobile app (PSG Corner → PSG Point Claims) no later than 23:59, 30th October 2025.

Student-led project is a project, event, competition, or campaign that is initiated, planned, and executed by a group of BUV students (not registered as a club/society) that is NOT a part of their academic assignments.

The Rising Star Award 2025 applies only to students who are in their first year of study when the award application period ends. Specifically, this includes students from the 2410 and 2502 cohorts, excluding those enrolled in IFP or Pathway programmes.

Each nominated club/society/student-led project is entitled to have four (04) representatives to attend the ceremony.

The BUV Student Awards ceremony is an invitation-only event. The invitations are not to be passed to other people.
 
All nominees are invited. And in addition, you can register to invite:
– For an individual nominee, each nominee will receive three (03) more invitations for their parents and family to attend,
– For the team nominee, each club/society/student-led project will receive six (06) invitations for their parents to attend.

Which email can I use to log in and submit my nomination?
For individual awards:
Please use your BUV student email.
 
For team awards:
Please use the official BUV email of your club/societies/projects.

Each award has a unique submission template. While you can use the same evidence, be sure to tailor it to fit these specific templates.

After you finish the last step of the nomination process (clicking on the “Submit” button) a confirmation email will be sent to your email.

You cannot un-do or delete a submission. However, you can submit another one in the right award category.

All qualified nominations (fill in the form correctly, submit the right template, use the right email, link provided are open for access…) will be published on our website on 6 November 2025.
