Academic Growth Award
This award recognises an event, activity, or student initiative that has made a significant impact on academic growth.
Eligibility:
✓ This category is open for BUV clubs/ societies/ student-led projects/ organisations.
✓ The nominated club/ society/ student-led project/ organisation must be active from the beginning of the Autumn Semester of the previous year up to the date of the Award ceremony.
✓ Only events, projects, or activities that occurred between the start of the Autumn Semester of the previous year and the end of the Summer Semester of the current year will be considered as valid evidence for the nomination.
Selection criteria:
✓ Skill development impact: The event/ activity clearly supports the academic journey or enhances work-related skills of the student community and its members (e.g., research, presentation, communication, teamwork, critical thinking, leadership).
✓ Relevance & need: The initiative addresses key student learning needs or skill gaps relevant to their academic or professional development.
✓ Engagement & reach: The event/ activity attracts strong student participation and demonstrates inclusive engagement across different groups.
✓ Sustainability & transferability: The initiative shows potential for continuity, scale, or replication, contributing to a broader culture of academic growth at BUV.
Winner selection: 100% Judging Panel.
Award value: The award winner in this category will receive a monetary prize of VND 5,000,000 plus a commemorative plaque.
